Opp from SocialSpark

Yesterday I wrote my second opp this year from SocialSpark. It's been a long time I have not received any opps from them. I was glad that I had one yesterday. It was 1,485 points. I have to reach 5,000 points so that I can withdraw it but anyway if I cannot reach the threshold which is 5,000 points I will just get it and have to pay 200 points as a fine for early withdrawal.

Submitting a Post in Socialspark and How to Place the Video Embed Code

Click this link to know the steps in submitting a post in Socialspark.
When a link has been successfully inserted into your content, it will turn from gray to green.

Here are the steps on how to embed a video code in your post.

Once the content editor is open you will place the video embed code in the editor.
To find the embed code (usually the advertiser supplies you with it in the Opp description, but not always) go to youtube to view the video. I would do this in a new tab.

From the youtube page, click the "share" button (usually right below the video) and next a link will appear. You don't want that link, you want the embed code. Click the "embed" button. Copy that code.

Now go back to your SocialSpark account, and in the content editor make sure you are viewing the editor in the "source" section not the "ABC" section. Find where in your post you want the video to appear. Place your cursor there, and paste the embed code you copied from youtube. Press "submit content for review". Viola! All done.

Spams, Viruses and Nasty Videos on FB

I often open my fb, maybe 5 times a day when I am at home. I find it very interesting to see pictures and hear the latest news from my family and friends in the Philippines. But fb has recently reported to have many spams, nasty videos and viruses.

FACEBOOK has 5 new viruses (so far..) 

1. Get 5000 FBK credits DO NOT OPEN IT. 

2. If you get a notification that a friend reported you for offensive behavior DO NOT OPEN IT. 

3. If you get a notice of a photo tag DO NOT OPEN it. 

4. Message from your chat mates saying click this link DO NOT OPEN IT. 

5.Crash at ALTON TOWERS DO NOT OPEN IT. These are bad viruses and will crash your computer. 

There are many computer programmers who have nothing to do with their expertise. They use their knowledge in a destructive way by sending virus to paralyze your computer system but not only that. How about those spams in your email box. It is very annoying to see your email box in the morning with more than 20 spams. You cannot immediately delete because you do not know if there are important mails in-between those mails. So, you have to check the senders or subjects. It is a waste of time checking all your mails and selecting which one should be deleted. 
Last month there were lots of nasty videos spreading using your fb account. I saw it first from my sister's account. I was really shocked. She did not know that because she seldom opens her account. I deleted the video right away.
This is how we live now in this computerized universe. So, dance with the music.

My New Header

Having a blog is just like having a tot. You buy new things for him like new clothes, shoes etc. In a blog sometimes you want something new like new template, layout, font and colors etc. It was already more than a year that I made this blog. Since then I never did add or remove anything. Maybe it is time to have a new look. So, I changed my header and added a new meme "Pic of the Week". The picture in the header was taken last April on my birthday. The netbook was one of the birthday gifts. It was an unexpected gift from my hubby. I was so happy that I can blog and visit my fb anytime I want. I can bring it everywhere. We have three PCs at home. One is in the living room, one is in my daughter's room and one is in the attic. When my son plays computer games he uses the PC in the living room so I cannot use it. Thus, my hubby decided to buy a netbook for me. 
I use this picture as my header because it fits to the blog title "Blogging is  My New Hobby".

Domain Name for My Other Blog

I was trying to get a domain for my other blog "My Life in Holland". I heard about godaddy.com. Many bloggers get their domain name at godaddy.com. So, I created an account at godaddy.com. I chose mylifeinholland.net for the domain name. I was almost done but I encountered a problem in paying the domain name. I paid it with paypal but still they needed a creditcard. Paypal must be coupled with a creditcard which I do not understand. I do not have any credit card. I thought paypal would be enough.
Does anybody out there who knows an affordable domain where I can pay via Paypal?

God doesn't have a Blackberry or an iPhone, but He is my favorite contact. 
He doesn't have Facebook, but He is my best friend. 
He doesn't have Twitter, but I follow Him, 
and He doesn't have internet, but I am connected to Him. 
And even if He has a great communication service, his customer service never puts me on hold.

I can contact Him anytime of the day 24/7 through my prayers. He is always connected to everyone. He answers all my queries and give solutions to my problems. HE is my everything.  HE is Great!
